what is 350?

Three-hundred-and-fifty PPM (parts per million) is the number most scientists agree is a sustainable level of CO2 in the atmosphere.

At 350, we get to keep life on earth pretty much the way it is now. But, over the past decade, CO2 levels have reached a level of 400PPM, threatening to push our Mother Earth to a much hotter and less livable place.

This poster series and animations were developed for the climate change awareness organization, 350.org, to promote the reversal of global warming before it's too late. Their straightforward message: our world is undeniably getting hotter, but we can do something about it if we act right now, globally, together.

To combat global warming will take collective, cooperative action.
