The Charles W. Morgan is the oldest wooden whaling ship still actively afloat in the world. In 2008, she embarked on a seven year restoration at Mystic Seaport, CT, culminating in an education tour of New England ports to raise marine conservation awareness.

Here is an excerpt from an animation short illustrating the transformation of a whaling ship from hunter to conservation steward. In this excerpt of her former identity, the ship embarks on one of her many hunting sprees around the world.
